  1. Hi Steve, I would love to have a copy (for obvious reasons) - please put me down for one. Thanks for putting this together Mark
  2. We have just got back from Aintree following our long weekend in North Wales (with plenty of liquid sunshine!) and the envelope for Wiscombe has arrived without a list of entries. Could somebody please send a scan to markgibson27athotmaildotcodotuk or let me know what numbers we will need to bring along Thanks, Mark and Suzanne
  3. Team Gibson had a very eventful day and we would really like to extend a heart felt thanks to all those who assisted with getting us out for our timed runs. In particular, Dave Mcfarlane *thumbup*for giving up his entire lunch break (and risk missing his second timed run) for driving round the depths of Liverpool visiting various autospares shops with my brother-in-law Martin. Thanks also to Mark Durrant *thumbup*and Andy *thumbup*for fitting a battery which Suzanne and Mark D managed to persuade a single seater driver to part with! I should also thank the inventor of the cable tie, although this is starting to sound like an oscar acceptance speech! This really is a great club with a great bunch of people who are more than happy to help their competitors make it out on track if they hit problems. See you all at Wiscombe *wavey*and hoping for a trouble free event!
  4. Simon. Although that was a pb for the amount i drank the night before a sprint i can still remember! You will have mail but i cant get access to my email during the day. Mark
  5. Mrs gib and i should be there around 8pm, bank holiday traffic depending. Looking forward to seeing you for a beer and a burger! Mark.
  6. thanks for the warning headmaster. If that is the case then it may just be me for the curry! Ps is this the first time anyone has posted on blatchat while in a 7?
  7. Sorry for the late reply, but Suzanne and I would love to come along for a beer and a curry. We should be at Harewood in time to walk the course with you at 5.30pm ish. See you later.
  8. Grahame, Thanks for your kind posting. We are travelling over on Saturday morning and so we will have much less stuff than normal so hope to be okay. Thanks ever so much for thinking of us. What time are you thinking of leaving on Saturday morning? Mark
  9. I just want to echo everyone's comments about the great weekend. I really do think that the ESV contributes significantly to the enjoyment of the event - so many thanks Malcolm. To add my 2penneth about the greatness of the club, I also wanted to thank MarkD, SimonR and MikeS for the assistance with efforts and tools sorting my sheared alternator and exhaust bolts. I particularly enjoyed Mark's entertaining way of getting the belt back on the water pump which gave the fear to most stood around the car! It was great to see a new class 3 winner (well done Michael - thoroughly well deserved). See you at MIRA. Mark
  10. I have to echo everyone else's comments - this was a really well organised event with very helpful Marshals (they were only too happy to push the cars around in the pouring rain in the starting area) - Many thanks to you all for making the event run so smoothly. On a personal note I was thrilled with my first ever sprint trophy and don't think I have been more than a few feet away from it since Saturday evening! Can't wait to see you all again at Pembrey. Mark
  11. Mark, Suzanne now has her MSA Licence Number and has sent in her registration for our championship (which should have arrived today). We would like to get her in for MIRA if possible so would it be okay to enter even though she hasn't had the official documentation back yet from the club with the registration card? Thanks, Mark
  12. Sounds fantastic. I should be there around 8pm also, sadly without Team Principal although I have lined up a slightly less agressive replacement!!
