Spotted a red 7 going along Victoria St heading towards Parliament Square around 1750 today.

Since upgrading to a powerspeed the 4-1 race exhaust with 5" silencer from my k-series is now spare. It has a couple of scrapes and dents but was in fully working order when removed and could do with a proper polish (much like the rest of my car!) - couple of pics: Silencer and primaries. More pictures available if needed. Looking for £250.

Spotted a green car with yellow strip around 1330 today - heading towards Hungerford on the A4.

Graham, Thanks, think that's cleared it up for me! it was the bottom hose on the expansion/header I meant rather than the actual bottom hose itself. The t piece is indeed 16/8/16 so I've got the right bits. Cheers! Karl

Does anyone have some pictures of their QED thermostat install they can post a link to or send me please? I want to be sure I'm putting the t-piece in the right place, given its size I'm sure it goes in the bottom hose on my (round, not flat) header tank but I've seen it installed in the smaller hose at the top as well and I'm unsure which hose is the return one mentioned in the instructions. Ta. Karl.

Ok, I'll give that a go later. I was going to fit the QED remote stat, if there isn't one fitted I take it I won't have to go through the pain of putting in that blanking ring or whatever it is when you take the stat out?

The previous owner used it for sprints and hillclimbs, maybe he removed the thermostat . Now you've said that I'm sure Dave Walker commented that it either didn't have one or it wasn't working when I was up there. Is there an easy way of telling if one is fitted or not? Would there be any difference in temperature behaviour - for example the water temperature never seems to get that high unless I'm sat in traffic for ages but on the move it seems to run quite cool or is that nothing to do with it?!

Reading something on here recently I noticed mention of the heater bypass hose. I don't have a heater, nor do I have a bypass hose - the point on the water rail is capped off as is the other side. Should a bypass hose be fitted, does it make any difference or not?
