  1. As in the title, my diff seems to be leaking at the diff nose, strangely where the prop shaft bolts to the diff. It has lost about 1/3 of a cup full over the winter. The diff was over filled before and the level is still above the top up hole.

    It does not seem to be at the oil seal *confused*

    Any pointers?

  2. I am looking to some clamps for attatching some smaller bars to my FIA roll bar. I have some plastic clamps but would prefer aluminium or steel. Does anyone know of a specialist supplier?

  3. Five KN Jupiter wheels with 185 70 13 tyres. Wheels in good condition, a few marks around some edges loads of tread on tyres, but they are a few years (12)old, Probably ripe for a drifting session

  4. Having just purchased an estate due to new baby my Audi A3 needs to go. 1800 3 door, petrol, 118k, new cam belt at 86k, new exhaust, 4 tyres, radiator, battery, discs etc.

    9 months mot.

    A lovely car to drive £1200

  5. Just a long shot before I take a trip down to the independant citreon garage.

    My 1999 2.l hdi deisel has just shown the engine "warning" light and the engine will not run above 2,200 rpm. no strange noises just a lack of urge. starts fine seems as if a engine govenor has been switched on.

    Any pointers?

  6. The Odessy was left for 4 months without charging, when left it was ok. It now needs a "top up" I am trying to work out wether I have a duff battery or an old and tired Optimate. I seem to have strange readings from the optimate *confused*

    In the past the Optimate has charged up flat batteries.

  7. I have an Optimate charger that is about 10 years old now. I have been charging two batteries recently , one from ann A3 audiold about 12 years and one from an odessy in the caterham which is 9 monthse old.

    It seems to charge up the Audi one some times, (which is on the way out). When connected to the Odessy today it has registered as low even after 10 hours when connected to the mains, but when unpluged I have no reading on the LED lights *confused* I connected the charger to a volt meter and had a reading of 12.5 volts, the meter also gave a reading of 12.5 volts when connected to the battery.

    The battery is only turning the engine 2.0L Zetec just about fast enough to catch after 10 hours charge.

    It seems that the Optimate is a bit hit and miss

    Any ideas?
