Hi colin, its nice to hear from you, youre not supposed to keep looking on here after youve sold your car, when you give up you ve got to completely give up.Have you seen the adverts for "pass it on",as a sign of my thanks for selling me the car,you can have the following options:either,as the plate is still specific to your initials, have the plate back for your own use,or,if the plate does sell Ill give the total sale price to NTL.Let me know what you decide. The car is still going great, the mileage is up to 10157 and I try to use the car as much as my wife lets me.I still get a smile every time I drive it and am still getting used to the power. Keep in touch, thanks Jeremy

Hi Nick, thanks for the email,my engine is a hi spec, freshly built so all youll need is to plonk on your carbs, distributer and away youll go,no waiting for machining. If you want the number of the guy who did the engine for me,give me a ring. The engine has its head off so you can inspect it if you want.I cant send you photos as the engine is still in his workshop in carmarthen. jeremy

  14. Ford crossflow engine built up using ax block bored to 86.25 powermax pistons, lightened and balanced, competition bearings, kent 244 cam with vernier duplex, new big valve head with steel shaft and rocker posts.Lightened and balanced bottom end with competition peco clutch to suit 5 speed.east lincs motorsport shortened, baffled sump.this engine ran for 150 miles when i had trouble with the original head, the engine was taken out, stripped, checked and then rebuilt including the new head by a locl machine shop,Hargreaves engineering, head still off for inspection, includes new competition head gasket.Asking £900.00,ideal for someone running an existing croossflow and wants an easy upgrade to a lot of power. The rebuild cost me nearly £300.00 three months ago and the engine is still sitting in the machine shop, was going to fit it to a striker but have gone yam r1 power instead. Thanks Jeremy

  17. Hi,ive got a pretty high spec crossflow consisting of an ax block with 86.25mm powermax pistons, balanced and lightened with competition clutch, peco, for five speed.Kent 244 cam with duplex, twin chain vernier, newly done big valve head ,head off for viewing but comes with new comp.gasket for refitting.Comp. bearings and just back from a £230.00 refresh, everything cleaned, checked and rebuilt, engine had only done 250 miles previously but had a problem with the old head so I had it stripped and rebuilt with the new head.Other bits included are an aluminium rocker cover. This engine will have a capacity of 1830 and should go like stink.I was going to put it in my own striker but have now gone bike power.I want £900.00 for it.Ive also got a couple of standard blocks bit ands pieces Ill throw in. Thanks jeremy
  18. Hi,I bought the 93,10000 mile hpc car which had flares and an sbd 208 kit fitted which was on here back in february. It was an impulse buy that turned up at the right moment,ie money in bank,40th birthday coming up.The car cost me £11600 and I was well pleased.I have been keeping an eye on prices and I agree with others that the cars are worth more for the performance etc that you are getting for the money. jeremy
  19. Hi,could you send some pictures and an idea of price. Thanks
  20. Hi,could you send pictures,prices to jeremy.hurley@btinternet.com Thanks jeremy
  21. Hi Ive just entered into seven ownership for the first time so can anyone give me an idiots guide as to what I should be tightening, checking on a regular basis.I can remember an article I read mentioning the fact that bits can fall off. Also, which oil should I be using for the 16 valve vauxhall HPC engine. Thanks Jeremy
  22. The above poster is right.Things, especially sevens, bashed or not, go for top money on ebay. You can place a reserve, your best above £1000.00 will be loved by ebayers and Ill hazard a guess now that it will go for at least £3000.00.Make sure you give a good description and plenty of photos. Jeremy
  23. Ive just bought colin armstrongs hpc/vauxhall,which oil is more suitable, whichever is reccomended Ill take 2 x 4 litres and can collect from Llandow as well if someone is kind enough to bring it down.Email me if you need prepayment. Thanks jeremy
