Duncan, That is very interesting, I will look and see if those brackets are there - and fit them if not - cheers for the tip. Ian

Ian, I really like your idea of the small mirrors mounted inside the car - I will try that. Thanks. Strangley my old seven circa 96-04 - I had no issues with the standard sidescreen mounted mirrors and I remember them being very stable. My new seven (04 acquired last year) although it is identical in build, same mirrors, sidescreens etc - they jump all over the place. I will have to investigate the 'tightness' of the fittings as this seems to be the only variable. Thanks for the tip Bricol.
  3. I used the Hella one - mounted used black velcro. Purchased from Car Builder Solutions. CBS Online A pic- Oh -and I used the Caterham sub loom - connected to near side. Edited by - Felixgogo on 14 Feb 2012 23:55:27
  4. Hi - also have the item 2 in your original post, took about an hour and half to fit - really good. I fitted it after watching a great Youtube clip of a few Sevens on tour - and the one with a high level light really stood out.
  5. Oh, might have been me, I went down the A447 to Hinckley to pick up the A5 to Silverstone. Around 12ish and again coming back around 5. But I don't recall a yellow seven, am I geeting old and senile and not seeing things anymore? Perhaps it was another green/yellow...
  6. Oh yes please! I was just about to post a 'Wanted', this will bring me up to date. I will blat mail you. Thanks Ian
  7. I think you are on to something with the cycle bottle idea. There are some nice spun aluminium bottles, that fit into a cycle cage bracket, that would look good under the bonnet. Get the bracket in ali too, and if you run a remote motor, all you would need is to drill the screw on cap. I am thinking of doing this myself... (However - you can't carry alot of water though...)
