The Go-Race is 3 x 50.8 pdc, a fantastic bit of kit at a realistic price IMO Go-Race

Agree on both counts, I fitted a new scuttle and the old bonnet just wouldn't re shape around it, catches too tight, looked dreadful. New bonnet was cheap as chips IMO and sorted the problem

Yes, as #7 it's the only mounting point mg tube has .

I have Protech dampers and through the DD tube mounts so I will take a look and come back to you (out walking the dog at the moment).

Fit new ones, safety critical & cheap as chips.

Take a trip down the A316 to Think Automotive really helpful & knowledgeable Company and they will give you a good discount if you tell them you are a C&L7C member.

I have never understood why people spend (big) money on 4 pot calipers and vented discs on a standard road car, waste of money in my opinion. I use my car mainly for track days not much road work, have 208bhp and the standard 2 pot brakes are more than adequate, many race series still use them.

Even my humble little Zetec would struggle with 90db static.

They were/are track rod ends when used as OEM applications.
EDITED: I was replying to post #7 not #8 . . . . . . Bloody useless software.

Am I missing something here?
I just tack welded 2 M8 x 15mm set screws to the mount from the top. This allows me to push gearbox & engine back until they locate and then put nylocs + washers on and tighten after I have located & tightened engine mounts.

Oh no not THIS old chestnut, it's been done to death

I have recently replaced my Lifeline with the GO RACE unit which uses spring loaded balls instead of splines, absolutely no play whatsoever & it self locates which save's having to centre the wheel before removing. I'm very pleased with it and the price is very reasonable as they extend a discount to Club members.

Never bothered fitting the lower two. 45K in 20 years, never had a problem (or dirty knees).
