  1. Hi Redcat7 Maybe I'm a bit thick but I can't say I fully understand what they are saying. Do I adjust the individual intake ports by slackening off the small locknut/Allen key bolt above each body? I can balance the left or right as pairs but not individually, if you see what I mean. Appreciate your help on this. Cheers Graham
  2. Thanks for the pictures. Have you tried them at night yet? I would imagine being a single tube without a stabilising bar would cause them to vibrate a fair bit. Do you have the part numbers and a price for the brackets? (Metric chassis) Cheers all.
  3. Hi all, Sigma 150 throttle bodies Does anyone know if you can balance individual intakes or is it pairs only? Cheers
  4. Hi all. When you have finished could we see some before and after shots of the lowered lamps? Cheers Graham
  5. Hi Have you been driving during any rain storms. If you have it might be water collecting in the plug holes and causing an intermittent short. The reason I say this is Caterham midlands did some work on my car and on completion they washed the car down. Whilst heading home the engine began to misfire and the more you pressed the accelerator the worse it got. I took it back, they dried it out and all was fine. Worth checking
  6. Hi Brian, Thanks for doing that, it's appreciated. "p.s. i've got 120bhp at the back wheels, thats scary, nearly as quick as the Elise!!!!" Your p.s. has gone way over my head, I think it must have been aimed at someone else. Cheers Graham
  7. Hi Jason, I don't like the idea of spending that sort of money. I'm hoping that with the correct tools and the correct set-up procedure I'll manage to tweak and sort it myself. Hi Martin, Good idea, I'll try some better quality fuel (always tend to use Asda or Sainsbury's) Thanks for that. I'm still hoping that someone has this official set-up procedure. Cheers guys Graham
  8. Hi all, I have a Sigma 150 that pinks under load, mainly in top gear. The only thing I have adjusted some months ago was the tickover speed, which was quite low and made steady driving very difficult. Now that I've upped it to around 1000 rpm it has made this situation better but at the expence of pinking. I have read on here that I more than likely need to ... a, Balance the throttle bodies. (Does anyone know who makes these TB's, which synchrometer to buy and what air flow rate should they be?) b, Set the TPS voltage/ohms. (Not sure which) A couple of posts talk about a measurement in ohms and so assume that the TPS is unplugged and the measurement taken on terminals 1 and 2 OR Another post talks about a voltage measurement. If this method is correct then I assume it's a case of prodding the wires with a tester with the engine at tickover and hot) c, Re-set the ECU. Not sure how this is done except just to disconnect the battery for 5 mins maybe? My main reason for posting is, does anybody have a copy of the Sigma 150 engine set-up instrustions talked about in various posts (obtained from Sean at CC). I have emailed Macca99 who talked in his post about these set-up instructions, but as of yet he hasn't got back to me. Any help would be appreciated. Graham

Hi Stuart, Just going to watch my son playing cricket. Sorry, didn't see you, where were you? (at the pub I take it) The rain did catch us on the way back though but the half hood with no doors just about saved us. Went to Curborough just after lunch today. Shenstone & District car club were there with the club members road cars, I think. Graham.
  10. Hi Stu, Would have loved to go to the GTKY7 event but it coincided with going on holiday. So we thought why not book the earlier GTKY7 south, which we did. On the Friday before going we both caught one of these rapid sickness bugs that gave you zero confidence in leaving the bathroom 🙆🏻 ... if you see what I mean. So I'll have to give it a miss this year and hope it happens again next year. No I haven't been to any of the Mid Staffs' meetings yet. Haven't given it much thought, to tell you the truth.
  11. Hi Stu, Yes I shall be going to Stoneleigh. Not sure which day yet though. I quite often go to Curborough just to see what's on for an hour or two. Ashbourne is the usual favourite aswell. Managed to put over 2000 miles on the clock since last July. What have you been up to?
  12. Hi Stu, Yes, that was either Wednesday, me visiting the mother-in-law's or Thursday visiting the Leyfields' chippy. I take it that you're out and about due to this lovely weather? Hope you, yours and the car are ok?
