    Guidelines

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING - any advertisement considered commercial by us will be removed. Please stipulate a price or at least a guide price, for the items you are selling. Why not have a look in the Wanted section to see if anyone's after the stuff you have? If you have the items for sale elsewhere, it would be nice if you mentioned it in your advertisement. No multiple posts, just to get your advertisement noticed. Please monitor your advertisements and update where necessary. Advertisers should update the thread once the items have been sold.
  5. The order deadline for the annual bulk-buy for Lowflying binders is rapidly approaching. The good news is that we have managed to maintain the price at £8.70 each plus postage and packaging. The design will match that of previous years too - green with the Club name and logo in gold on the spine, each binder holding 12 issues. We need to order at least 50 binders to proceed and the order deadline is Friday 5th December. To order your binders please email Sam at memsec@lotus7club.com or telephone her on 01873 777303 with the following information: your full name and address (including delivery address if this is different)your Club membership numberthe quantity of binders you would like to orderyour contact details.Once the bulk buy has been finalised, postage and packaging costs will be confirmed. Regular updates on how the bulk buy is progressing and any further information will be posted on the thread 'stickied' on ChitChat. IMPORTANT NOTE: Binders can ONLY be ordered by contacting Sam. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ORDER BINDERS VIA A THREAD ON BLATCHAT
  6. Stickers - I think we should display stickers (to be honest I thought this was already in the Regs) but I think we need to limit the size. If we have 2 sponsors then someone needs to be creative with the Etch A Sketch! Number of runs - I think we should cap the number of runs that count and based on the evidence may be 4 (or 5?) is the right number. At least that way we all know where we stand. I try really hard to get my run in as early as I can so that Shaun can run in class order without any competitive advantage from being a duel driver. The more runs we do (and the smaller the rest of the field gets because only a small number of their runs count), the harder this gets. However I have to say that I feel cheated by those places we compete at that only do 2 timed runs, regardless of the time of day it is when runs finish (Castle Combe). Gill
  7. Edward Lewis - 5 events, top 10 applied to 2014 - the trophy is MINE - thank you Chris and sorry Oli There is one issue with extending EL to 7 events and that is that currently the Ladies Championship is taken over 5 events and by making EL over 7 events you are requiring the Ladies to do more rounds in order to qualify (and so far there are a higher proportion of the Ladies who have won the EL cup than men - or perhaps that is the thinking behind this ...... ) Gill
  8. I can hear our new clutch saying "thank goodness, only another 7 events to get tyre warming banned at and I should last forever" ; the tyres are nodding in agreement (well the 3 round ones are - the 4th one knows his days are numbered <mutter mutter Shaun mutter Flatspot mutter>
