  3. We have run a TTV flywheel with an AP pressure plate and friction plate on our race R400 for the last 3 seasons excellent product and of great quality, When we fitted it during a full engine re fresh it was checked for balance and was spot on but was then re balanced along with the crank and nothing was removed from it. I have not been into the workshop at the change of location as yet

    S3 Diff Brace Bars

Item now sold, Many thanks for the interest
  7. I have a pair of S3 Diff brace bars, tig welded, powdered coated in satin black, fully adjustable with high quality rose joints, These fix to the sierra diff at 10.00 and 2.00 o'clock with the supplied 10mm bolts, plain and schnoor washers. The top mounts bolt onto to the pair of top seat belt mounts with longer seat belt bolts and a nylock nut. Mog Racing charge Euro 474 for very similar units, I would like £150 inc p+p which is far cheaper that a broken diff mount. Ideal for race, sprint and high powered road cars.
  8. Q is your car set up to run ZZRs ? They do need loads of neg camber front and rear, are you using soft compound for sprinting ? And road compound for road use ? Cold psi should elevate to + 4/5 psi when hot for road use, when sprinting poss 3/4 psi depending on loadings. My thoughts are ZZRs for up to 250bhp Kumho 250 + bhp
  9. Have you got the car set up correctly to run ZZRs they need plenty of Neg front and rear ? Are you using the soft compound for sprinting and road / race compound for road use ? Aim for 4/5 psi cold under your target pressure of 23/25 psi hot which you will not achive with road compound used for sprinting, but could if soft compound, ZZRs on sub 250 bhp Kumho on + 250 bhp works well
  10. I believe that when the carcass was changed is when the weight of the new ZZR as opposed to the earlier ZZR changed, And there was also a suggestion to run higher tyre pressures to maintain tyre shape to get the tyre working. For us in a 40 min race the earlier tyres road / race compound worked well around 21psi hot we now run at a much higher psi and is a much better tyre. Bearing in mind it takes our car with an average lap speed of 80mph 5 laps of a 3 mile circuit for the tyres to come up to their max temp and remain stable at that point. Sprinting wise with the softer compound surely running sub 17 psi the tyre footprint could go concave under side loadings and reduce adhesion, But what works for one could be totally different for another, But with a rumour of no more Kumho till christmas there could be more interest in the ZZR
  11. Sorry but left and right are different lenghts also
  12. Item provisionally sold pending payment
  13. Change of plans hence i have a brand new and unused Gary May Series 3 rear diffuser available, Control the airflow under the rear of your car, keep the underside cleaner and make it more stable at speed. Would prefer collection to avoid damage £160
  14. Actually one of the worst things is to store tyres in the same area as welding takes place such as arc, mig, tig etc as the light rays are much worse than the suns rays. Double wrap in black bin liners and store in dark area at as constant ambient as possible. If tyres are showing heat cycles ie a faint rainbow colour haze across the flat then a couple of applications of Tyre Softening Compound will help to bring them back towards their origional compound or even softer, But only for track days as frowned upon for racing etc
  15. I now have the front inner so require the outers anyone have spares avalable please ?
  16. Looking for straight and true MB rim sections 2.5" outer, 1.5" outer and a 5" inner
  17. We use an ally sheet on the race car which is located by 6 x m4 steel rivnuts which replace 6 pop rivits which fasten the side skins then fastened by cap heads with spring washers
  18. Just searching for one odd Arnie Webb bulk buy front upright rose joint conversion anyone have one
  19. Whatever you apply it with, leave the can of waxoyl in your airing cupboard for a few days, or in the full sun for a few days, or stand in a bucket of boiling water pre use or all of the above then the viscosity will be so changed that it may well flow through a garden sprayer but will at least run into far more grot traps. I would advise to sheet over your floor / drive area before spraying though
