  4. Also posted in the For sale section but could be of interest to sprinters. Mike Barnby Wheels set of four Mike Barnby Wheels set of four, polished outer rims with black magnesium centres for dedion hubs: Fronts are wider than standard 13” x 7½” – 5” + 2½” outers Rears are standard 13” x 8½” – 6” + 2½” outers These were my sprint wheels so have never seen a road let alone a salty one, Mike Barnby crack tested the centres when he supplied new highly polished outers and built them up for me following a change in tyre size. Usage since has been circa 25 events, they’ve been dry stored with regular liberal coatings of WD40 so condition is very good. They’re fitted with proper alloy valves and a set of Kumhos that have no tread to speak of, a set of nuts/washers are included, no centre caps. Price £750 and assumes collection from South Bucks. Please either post here or mail me.

  10. Richard, I have a pair, one on its own and one with some cosmetic damage by a tyre fitter (could be fettled and made useable) still attached to a 5" inner with no centre. You're welcome to all of them if of any use. Adrian
  11. The front stay runs to the lower rear DS pump to support cradle which can't be there on a non DS installation so I'd say they must be different.
  12. They're the same but I do seem to remember having the shim the arb mounts away from the chassis with a washer or two for the best fit
  13. 1.5 degrees is the standard amount of camber, 0.5 also available.
  14. There should also be a couple of support brackets on the underside of the RB installation to be removed.
  15. It's very tight with an imperial chassis so might not be a 'metric' issue as such. Try loosening the steering rack clamps and rotating the rack so that the column is raised slightly, might just give you the clearance you need. Hope that works fo you.
  16. I'd shorten the footwell and use the Pace tank. My son is 6'2" with long legs and traveled to and from Le Mans in my car which is an S3 with a shortened footwell and didn't complain. The Pace tank puts the weight in the right place and was used by CC on an SLR/R400 race car that did 24 hours at the Nurburgring without issues as the bell tank capacity was thought to be a little marginal. I also doubt you'd need to lag the Brise but I wouldn't use it over the Pace.
  17. I have a picture of an Ali dry sump from my previous K engined seven and it does have Caterham cast into it. Not sure that's much help.
