  2. Hi all. I'm soon going to get my R500d on the rolling road. I'm suspicious after a recent track day about its power output. It really didn't seem to be 43bhp faster than my mates 220bhp R400. Does anyone have an R500d dyno plot available so I can compare mine. I'm running a carbon airbox with cat bypass through to a Raceco exhaust. Cheers all.
  3. Evening all. I'm off to Oulton Park on Tuesday. Wondered what people's thoughts and experiences are on what hot tyre pressures to run ZZR tyres? I've run low 20's previously but current thinking from some people is nearer to 30psi hot. Your thoughts please....

  5. Hi all. Does any one know if the Caterham aero wishbones require different anti roll bars to the standard wishbones. I've just tried to do a swap but the wishbones seem a slightly different length / shape? cheers..

  8. Alternatively are there any similar style seats that are a bit wider in the rib area? Are the 620R ones a different shape?
  9. Hi all. I am trying to work out a way to fit in the Tillet seats in my new car. From the lower back down they are super comfy but my rib cage at around chest height is wider than the seat and extended driving is not possible as its too painful. My car has lowered floors and the area involved is above the transmission tunnel so there is space to make the seats wider at this point. Has anyone solved this problem? Can you heat the seats up and alter their shape? Is there any one that offers a fitting service? I know tillet offer wider seats but they won't fit in a Caterham and would be too wide for my hips etc.. thanks for your comments....
  10. Hi all. I'm very interested in purchasing the R500 on pistonheads. It's currently in green/yellow Caterham colours. It doesn't have the carbon seats in which came as standard. Just wondered if any one knows this cars history. The current owner purchased it from Caterham Midlands a year ago.. It's no79 registered Dec09 Thanks, Andy.

  12. Thanks guys have just emailed Oily. He has worked on my car in the past. I'm sure this is a well trodden path. My VHPD made 200bhp on Jenveys and anything less would be disappointing. Anything more would be kind of an upside.... Fingers crossed.

  15. Hi all. Just wondered if anyone had an experience / thoughts with fitting wider rims at the front of an S3 Caterham. I currently have a 200+ bhp SLR with 6" fronts and 8" rears. more tyre = more grip, but does it = crappy handling? cheers, Andy.
