  1. 😬 I see on the one with the turret they have improved the aerodynamics over the 7.
  2. I think you mean millstone. 😬 And you're right. Exactly what have you been talking about on here.
  3. Hi Peter, yes it was me, sorry I didn't connect the car with you until after you had gone past. Hence the belated wave. I wasn't driving and with any luck there will be a few test drives for people soon. ☹️ Still it will be for the greater good. Duncan

    R300 BAD

by SWMBO and I. You were going through Horsham centre sounding very nice.
  5. Echoing Steve's comment I recently overfilled mine. It has an apollo tank as well. On the road I didn't know I had overfilled it until every now and then I felt the engine stutter slightly and when I looked in the mirror there was a huge cloud of oily smoke. A few hard corners, etc and it seems to have sorted itself out.
  6. I'd just like to add my best wishes for tomorrow Dan.
  7. Why not follow Owjay's example and run and old land rover defender?
  8. definitely not carbon fibre. I know I have one but it's for a friend who wants the poly one so it can be moulded if necessary.
  9. In yellow spotted about 12:40. I should say heard first sounded very nice whilst I was walking back towards town.

    BOO

Just thought I would sneak in to see if anyoe was about. Obviously not.
  11. for use during the day as I keep getting distracted in the hot sunny weather. 😬
  12. Nifty, I don't think there is any urgency. It is down to Luke really. I am selling him some spare wheels and 4 ACB10's I have sat in my garage so it's just a case of when it can be done unless Luke says otherwise. He asked me to post as he can't.
  13. I have 4 wheels and 4 tyres (tyres not on wheels) which need to get from near Gatwick to Ipswich (Luke Beaumont). Luke says it might be easy to collect them from Nifty's as he gets around 😳 if anyone can help.
  14. First a yellow one with full cage, couldn't tell you where but you waved and smiled Second Blue somewhere else along the route Finally black with number plate R400 *** when we were heading back from Caterham. Nice to see a few out this morning.
  15. Looked to be green with no doors on. I was in the black focus that came up behind you and hooted as you pulled out of the junction. A lovely evening for it and I will be whipping mine out shortly.
  16. Dicky, just a suggestion and I will email you the same. Put the foam tape on the underside of the bonnet and not on the scuttle or nosecone. It keeps the scuttle, etc much cleaner and looks alright. Duncan
  17. noughts and crosses boxes
  18. Knowing where you are based would help. I know a place near Gatwick which isn't too bad but it might be too far from you. Just another quick thought. You say that you have 'pile-ups' and want to get a couple of CR500's. Does this mean that you will be running two 'pile-ups' and two CR500's on your car? Not the best of ideas, you would be better off (with the exception of the additional cost) buying 4 new tyres if you are changing the brand.
  19. Steve, I don't know if it will help but YHM. Duncan
  20. Dave, if you can't find an air rifle try either This or failing that This The second option is more for your large rats though. There are a few other options on the site. Edited by - DuncanP on 25 May 2005 16:13:37
  21. I know someone with an R400 who has what I understand to be a Caterham cold air kit with the intake under the leading edge of the nosecone.
  22. heading from the Dorking direction on the A25, two up. I was in the black focus who flashed and waved at you just before you got to the one way system.
  23. I can't tell you too much about it other than it looked to be dark green and was loaded to the gunwhales. Joining the inevitable queue of traffic going clockwise. I was headed anti having dropped the wife and mother in law off at the airport.
