  1. Well done to the winners in each class. Rob overall champion congratulations
  2. Planning on adding some Jenveys on my supersport. If IRC the R300 did not run an air box? what are peoples experiences or thoughts. Thanks David
  3. Agree, but trying to be as green as possible, and save a few pounds. Can not believe there are none about. Thought others may have upgraded there engines to something more modern.
  4. Just been watching the 2009 club championship video. It looks amazing, but just when you think its safe to come out and play it snaps at you. The out takes are great , the spins, some are well lets say Antree and the 1st corner. spinning at Goodwood, and a few more. if i get time i will pop some up on youtube over the winter. have fun this weekend,
  5. I am looking for a set of Jenvey throttle bodies for a k series. Anyone got a set? Would consider other makes. many thanks David
  6. Rob, if you got rid of the camera man it would save a lot of weight. Do like the active camera
  7. Brian James Minno shuttle (late addition) for sale £3500 I have bought 5 new rims and 8ply tyres for the trailer as the old ones were past their best. The trailer has been stored under cover and had little use for a few years. Selling due to lack of use (may need a service) and no longer having a tow car (as of 1 month) and moving house its time to let someone who can enjoy closed cover trailing. SOLD subject to collection
  8. Thanks for the replies. Agree that the SLR cage is the best however what i need is ease of removing screen and then must have doors. The seven is just not getting used, and with the loss of a tow car for a few years it gives me an option to use it more. I think I will be going for a DD roadsport cage, I can always convert back to SLR cage at a later date if needed. A winters project. thanks all David
  9. Thanks for the responses. My 2001 does not have the webs. Trackday DD no good as it need FIA/MSA approval. need to see if DD is FIA/MSA approved.
  10. I currently have a SLR cage, but loss of tow car , and wanting to use seven more, has lead me to think I need to put on a cage that will allow a screen, doors and a 1/2 hood. it looks as if CC sell a track day cage, with double D’s, but it is not clear if this is the same as the old roadsport DD cage. Other options are the diagonal roadsport/academy cage. It looks as if some have a plate that gets drilled into the dash. Any thoughts please on the best way forward thanks David

  12. Well not resolved. MOT today (passed) but after having not issues today got the seven out and fine. Turn engine off and came back CLICK. managed to get to the MOT but would not started after it passed. Checked the feed to the solenoid 12+Volts, tried direct feed to solenoid Click, hit starter and it worked . drove home and its working again. Chap at the garage thinks its the starter, its not that old 2yrs and only done 100 miles max. What I noticed when he was checking that the relay to solenoid was 12.5v when no load but when attached to the solenoid was down at 8.5v. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? thanks David
  13. Ben Williams a star of the future?
  14. Thank you for your answer. It looks as if the live is taken from the loom, as the relay is not getting a direct live from the battery. David
  15. Spent sometime going through the wiring. I changed from EU2 to EU3 2 yrs ago and the loom had a relay already added to it. Last week tried starting the seven and got a click. As the battery was 2 yrs old I added 1+1 and came to the wrong conclusion it was the battery. This was not helped by my stack dash saying 11.5v. Got new battery and still a click no start. Been checking the wiring today, started with the earth but not that. I got to checking the output from the relay mod and found it was only sending 7.5v to the starter motor. So the mod to stop the k click as the cause of the click. The relay must have corroded . I have all realized my stack dash is a stand alone system so the 11.5v is a difrent issue to be explored. Question: I only had a NON fuse amp relay, do i need to get a fused relay? if so can I ask why as i would like to understand. I guess there is already a 30 amp fuss in the system for the ecu. many thanks David
