I've drilled out the rivets & left the bulkhead. I've got lots a things attached to that so I we t the easy route. Have people put rivnuts instead of rivits back in?

I need to disconnect the original Vectra key type immobiliser before it gives up. has anyone done this- it's on a 1996 car so you can see how old it it

Oh joys of a short footwell- I did it the old way & the level was low- not dripping out the hole so a quick top up sort it. Thanks for all responses guys!

Haven't checked it since install- mind you I've had no leakage but for piece of mind I'm checking it. what I think is the filler plug seems low on the passenger side of the box is this right?? also what is the level I should be looking for?

I've did an empty & fuel calibration on the stCk gauge. Cost me £47 in super

Or how do it measure it? tank is empty & I have 2 cans of fuel reading to fill

I've got a replacement stack gauge for more acurate reading. i took out the float & did min & max on that but that can't mean min & max with fluids in. i must be doing something wrong or have it set too low.

Don't really fancy messing about with cans of fuel just to achieve the max & min to set up a stack gauge . any advise gents??

My rattle seems t be creeping up the rev range on tickover. i did have the idle set for 900 but it made a dreadful noise so I've raised it. It now seem to start rattling at 1000 rpm . is this a concern?
