    diff noisy

    I have only had the car R300 k series for a couple weeks and have noticed how noisy the diff is. clunks on / off throttle, but I have mainly noticed the whine from the diff at about 50 mph, even can hear it through ear plugs, been told that car has LSD. Question is how noisy ahould these be, I still have short warranty with CC and wondered if I need to get it sorted. Chris

    Had Dave from PPG down on Saturday, did a lovely job and has now protected all the areas that needed doing. nose cone, rear arches, side panels, hood strips, door where opens onto bonnet (hood) door areas where seat belts tend to hit, front spring catches for bonnet, He even did a minor additional area around boot poppers without charging. Cost £375.

    have R300 2004 about 12k miles, only got it recently, I have noticed notchy going into 2nd from 1st when engine / g/box cold, fine when warm. Any suggestions and does this indicate a future problem. Note clutch bite point very high near top of pedal Chris

    Just got Caterham and can see after limited use that newly painted rear wings and nose cone will get stone chipped fairly easily. I've seen several products armourfend and paint protection on internet and wondered if anyone has experience of these ? Also best areas to cover, obviously two areas as above, but what about side panels, bonnet etc any advice appreciated Chris
