My Mrs was over there a few years ago on business and found a nice quiet bar with attractive printed glasses with the establishment's name and the town on them. She persuaded them to let her bring one home as a souvenir. Whenever either of us take the glass from the cupboard, we always sing "Arhus, in the middle of the street" One day I'll grow up... 😳

Have you looked at the GT seats? They're not as snug as Tillets and better shaped than standard leather seats. I've got them in my SV and have had no issues despite my back being sensitive to certain seats.

I'm interested... and have done the survey (though could only choose one face colour) I like the idea of a simple, plain dial with (as suggested previously) the number 7 (ideally as per our nosecone grilles) on it at the appropriate place

without realising it until now, I "sling" my harnesses over my left shoulder, ie into the car and away from the edge you're worried about... so don't have your problem!

Carl at Sevenspeed has supplied me with some bespoke stripes for my car but as per the original post, at what height on the side should I fit them... and/or where should I take as a reference - the ground, the car's floor, chassis top rail or...?

I put mine in the centre of rear bulkhead just above the transmission tunnel. My 2013 Supersport had the wiring in the boot and I used a 12V socket from Caterham (yes, I know it was comparatively expensive) and it was all dead easy - plug and play!

I bought some late last year... they're 1.5" longer than standard (and as the arm is angled slightly, raise the mirror a bit too). The vertical bit the mirror sits on is unchanged. Speak to Steve Hawkins at SPA on 01543 434580 (s.hawkins@spa-uk.co.uk) They usually stock various arms but didn't have any like I wanted when I called but made some up within a week. Price was circa £10 a piece plus VAT and carriage. They're very tidy but give the appropriate gear, shouldn't be difficult to make up yourself. Have gone aero since! 😳

Great news that there is light at the end of the tunnel (assuming it's not an oncoming train...!) 😳 I guess any associated charges got lost within your negotiations with Caterham but what items needed rectification after the PBC?

I've got the GT seats in my Supersport SV CycleSi... I'm hardly local but am closer than Caterham (who as Tom says certainly had a couple of cars in stock last year with them!) if you want to drop in and try them for size. I think they're superb!

as the yoof of today say OMG WTF... Daniel, I have commented before that the part shortages, poor instructions etc are things you look back at as part of the rite of passage of building a 7 but what you've gone through is absolutely ridiculous. Your tolerance is astonishing and the manner in which you have been treated - with at best disingenuous comments to stall you, at worst bare-faced lies - having spanked well over 40 big ones is an abolsulte disgrace. The car I hope you will be enjoying soon should be sufficient to make the memory of the grief disappear rapidly but if it isn't sorted very, very soon, you must be totally justified in telling Caterham to foxtrot oscar and give you your money back.
