It's above the oil filter
When removed check for crackslsplits and if the top part is loose.early indication of failure
When refit torque to 15nm and topup oil
Start/stop and recheck.

dont know about sticking cable.but i have the same car and the mechanics told me that throttle boddies dont like to be tickled,either press the peddle or don't.
mine is fantastic.

ali/yellow nose,woodhead pass around 4ish today.
i was in viper blue,both waved.

undo the bolt where the top of the tube is fastened to the bottom of the airfilter,and see if you can give it a little twist.note the crank shaft position sensor is zipped to it.

have you tried jumping off another car
or
get a jump lead,one end on back of starter,other end on battery+,it now has 12v straight up its arse,so it should start.

i had 4 tins of dinitrol 445[anti stone chip] £35 inc p&p off ebay,its black and it reheals itself if a stone hits it,i used wax oil from day one in the footwell/side skin part.i sprayed some on the rear arch from the light unit downwards,as this acted as a cushion effect to try and stop small star shape cracks in my paint from appearing ☹️

i got a 1.5t one from charlies,£90.looks the same as the m/mart one.

just looked for 4mins,could'nt stand it any more,NO OIL PRESSURE.
you should have stopped straight away
take sump pan off,then remove oil pickup pipe and see if its 95% blocked
sounds like oil starvation to me.
a quick way,take off oil filler cap,put a clear plastic bag over the hole and get the misses to turn the engine over and see if oil spits out.

i take the air filter off to remove/refit the oil filter.
its a lot easier than getting it from below.

when i repacked mine with grease the bearing did'nt have the outside casing,the rollers was open.i just spun them with a greased finger to repack then.
my car is 2010 roadsport with widetrack.and it passed its ist mot in april.
if yours are as the picture shows,what are mine off.

yes,that cap does fit the standard m/c,
i was given one when my 2010 sigma had its 1st medical.

my cars a 2010,150 roadsport with uprated ap front brakes.
i have a bit of a warp in my right rear disc.does anyone know what car there off so i can get new ones.im also after new rear pads,compatible with my uprated fronts.
ive sent an amail to ccm but no reply.
