Cheers Ian, just taken the hub off and all of the felt has gone, nothing left not even a trace of it!! Bearing looks ok, but will replace the whole thing anyway for piece of mind as the part is only £22. Will make sure I give it a good lubing 😬 S7UPL - SUPerLight no.108

Have noticed that the black fluff - here has come out of the wheel bearing here (still some in there) and I've got spatters if oil along the side of my car. I'm guessing that the black fluff is the stuff that's still in white here so it looks like I'll need to replace the bearing - which will be a shame as they were only changed last year by JW7's. My question is, how and why would this have happened and what do I need to do to stopp it happening again? Or, is it a case of they all do this? Thanks Chris S7UPL - SUPerLight no.108
