  1. Well, although I'll need to wait for better weather to test properly, I have been round the block. Mainly to give confidence nothing would fall off. I did a Dragy 0-60 test and the best I got was 5.33 seconds. There are lots of threads on here about lighter flywheels but I wanted to do a real benchmark test, so will report back with what improvement I achieve. I'll ensure I don't loose weight before testing again! All the concern about a rougher idle have been quashed, no change. I've only knocked off about 3kg of mass, I believe the Premier Power option includes a lighter clutch and knocks off about double that. Anyway, subscribe to the YouTube for updates, one coming soon on a slight rectification of a mistake I made (pointed out by a reputable person). Stuart
  2. So, after much consideration, I decided I would attempt to fit a lightened flywheel.....myself. I've never taken an engine out before, so, if you're interested, follow along on my YouTube channel. Subscribe to get the next episode....
  3. Thanks, I've cleaned the earth in the bowl and all seems to be good for now. love this forum!
  4. Yes, it's just the normal buzzer when the indicators are on.
  5. Thanks for initial comments, I'll have a go at these at the weekend. a horn repeater? Its the buzzer/ horn that makes a noise when the indicator flashes. Stuart
  6. Thankfully I passed my MOT two weeks ago, because now I have a problem. Any ideas where to start would be gratefully received. When I turn my headlights / sidelights on, my left indicators also come on (solid, not flashing) - which I was alerted to because of the horn repeater. Also noticed, when I turn my left indicator on (when no headlights are on) all the dash lights go on and off as the indicator flashes. Flipping heck, where do I start? Thanks
  7. Hey, I bought a new Sterling key bob for my 2016 310S as an extra spare. Following the handbook instructions to pair it I've become unstuck at the part where the LED rapidly flashes upon turning on the ignition three times. I understand it is meant to flash rapidly then flash once to show reprogramming of the fob. Mine just keeps on flashing rapidly, I gave up after a minute or so. Anyone know where I'm going wrong? Stuart
  8. Just wanted to say, so far, this antenna ring is working great!
  9. Thanks, I'll test the other key fob first.
  10. Thank you. I'll look into it, and might buy a new fob anyway to be safe. Assume it can be paired with my system.
  11. It's a Sterling type, and don't think it has a battery in it. The aerial wire is very close, it is wrapped round the ignition barrel where the key goes in.
  12. Hi, I'm getting fed up with my immobiliser not triggering every time I switch on the ignition. Sometimes it takes a few seconds, and that's fine, but sometimes it just doesn't work. I have to then re-try buy switching on ignition again. Sometimes I have do do this several times. is there anything I can be doing to remedy this? 2016 310S thanks
  13. SOLD Selling my battery conditioner. Bought a LiPo which it isn't compatible with. less than 6 months old, all the bits come in a kit bag. Includes the conditioner/charger. Instructions, 2 extension leads, cigarette lighter (which is the way I used it) and crocodile clips. Also includes a wall bracket which makes everything tidy. £50 posted for the lot.
  14. Well, I already use a cap and sunglasses. Guess there isn't much else, but I'll have a think. Might put a slight tint strip along the top (without names).
  15. Hello, Spring and Autumn low sun is the problem. Does anyone have a solution? Clip on visor, suction visor, tinted windscreen tape? thabks
  16. I hadn't considered sikaflex, I have a spare tube and will smear on the underside of my arches tomorrow!
  17. I got all mine from Alastair Westle

  19. Same issue here. I put two new gators on, ended up having to grind out the inside if the metal collar on the gators with a dremmel until it fitterd. A real pain!
