  1. Yes, that's the plan unless anyone says it's a bad idea. What do you reckon?
  2. Hi, I'm planning on replacing the pop rivets with rivnuts.
  3. I agree Terry, I've just received mine and it looks great, and really not so small as to draw attention.
  4. Thanks, I also plan to check they all work before building the scuttle back on!
  5. Hi Stu, cheers, yes, scuttle is off so it's all easy, hopefully. Thanks for the tip. My existing dash isn't pushed all the way up I notice.
  6. Thanks Stu, sounds like a plan. I've got Sikaflex.
  7. Hello, I hope to fit my new carbon dash tomorrow mid have a question... Should I fit the dials and switches then bond the dash in place.... Or, bond the dash then fit the dials and switches when set. thanks

  9. I've dropped them an email, thanks.
  10. Hi, I'm struggling to source a carbon dash fro my 2016 SV. I'm hopefuly doing a respray and thought it would make everything look better with a splash of carbon. Any ideas? Caterham out of stock.
  11. Hiya, I'm off to visit a paint shop next week for quite a few jobs. Some small patches of corrosion at rear wheel arches, stone chips, odd bubble here and there. I keep thinking if I do the lions share of the strip down and deliver on a trailer, surely it isn't that big a job to prep and paint a Caterham? I've got a Solarbeam Yellow 310S, which is lovely, but I really love the Riviera Blue with a gray stripe. Who has done a full re-spray and are you happy with it? Cheers Stuart
  12. Great question, and one I've asked myself a lot. I drove a hire car with a lightened flywheel and loved the faster pick up and better engine braking. I don't actually remember my issues at low revs. sometime I'm struggling to get from 2nd to 3rd gear very smoothly, and I wonder if that would help. It's also something to do during winter
  13. Hi Beagler, 22,000 miles. I'd replace the clutch at the same time, anything else to consider?
  14. Hi Jonathan, I'm based near Perth. Yes to the disassembly guide please. I probably have most of the tools (except an engine hoist and any special tools for the clutch etc).
  15. An amateur mechanic is perhaps a bit strong, but I'm fairly handy with a spanner. I've never had an engine out, or split a gear box from an engine. I asked a local garage (that I knew to have experience with Caterhams) and they said they had never done it so couldn't offer a quote. I quite fancy getting a lighter flywheel, and wondered if I could do the work myself. Ideally I'd do it myself with some help from someone who has more experience than me. What do you reckon?
  16. https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/holders/Apple/iPhone+12+Pro+Max/511698.htm 75-89mm by the looks of it.
  17. Ps it has some width adjustment for adapting to different phone cases and can rotate landscape.
  18. Selling my lightly used iPhone 12 Pro Max phone holder and Caterham 3D printed adapter for mounting via two holes on top of dash. £30 posted.
  19. Hi RJ, the engine was off at the time so makes sense. The coloured wires are just visible in the photo.
  20. Hello, whilst trying yoga this afternoon, looking for loose bits to tighten to suppress some of the rattles I discovered this two pronged device with a green bridge that was getting very hot when the ignition was on. (I had the ignition on to test my heated window connection). Is it meant to get so hot so quickly? Whats it for please|? Thanks, and sorry the photo is upside down! Stuart (Sigma 2016 SV)
