  5. It was easy to fit but yes you do have cut a big hole and I had to reposition the chassis plate. The combination of this and lagging the headers did help any air movement in the footwell is going to remove some of the heat, I went out in mine on Saturday for a 2 hour drive and can't say my feet were hot the ambient temperature was about 23 degrees
  6. has anyone got a decent pair of 4 point harnesses they want to sell, not bothered if they are out of date, must be black.
  7. My sigma expansion tank used to fill when running changing the cap cured it.
  8. I think its the map sensor, I think mine uses the tps instead of this thats why its not connected it was running rich so I've pot a new lambda sensor on and thought this may also have something to do with it but I don't think it does after looking into it

  10. Does anyone know the part number of the lambda sensor I've taken a look at mine and the numbers are vary faint and nothing shows on an Internet search on the numbers I can see
  11. Makes no difference when its unplugged so it looks like a new lambda sensor
  12. mine is an ex sigmax car it does run very rich and struggles to tick over the emissions would not get though an mot at the moment not sure if the lamda sensor is shot which wouldn't help gues it needs to go on a rolling road and get tuned
  13. what is the correct method for adjusting the tick over on a sigma engine is it done by adjusting the throttle cable or the screw on the TB
  14. I've got 2 rear wings that are damaged but could be repaired if you have the time n/s is the worse one, £20 pick up only location dudley wet mids
  15. I have removed this seal with the gearbox in situ, diff and prop off took out the rubber part out of the seal to leave the metal casing and used a modified bearing puller to extract it, it helped a lot when I carefully warmed the gearbox housing up around the seal with a hot air gun.
  16. this is a un used fuel gauge I bought some time ago but found out it would not read correctly on mine I've done some research on the part number but have unfortunately drawn a blank, someone may recognise the part number and it might be of use to them, £25 plus p&p

  18. Had a reply from Caebont it might mean something to someone here EFC1-1152-75B needs a sender that is 109 ohms empty & 4 ohms full, this may be a Caterham special as we don’t list one for those values EFC1-1152-69B needs a sender that is 240 ohms empty & 22 full, non linear end to end.
  19. I've contacted caerbont so ill wait and see what they have to say
  20. I've had to get a replacement fuel gauge for my 2011 fuel gauge as the original fell to pieces although it still worked, the new one reads a lot lower than the original one they look identical apart from the suppliers number on the back, anyone now if the replacement is correct, old one is shown on the left.

  22. Forgot to add its a front caliper
  23. does anyone have a a decent standard rh brake caliper for a s3 2011 they want to part with. Dave
  24. Thought I would add to this old thread, i did fit one of caterhams cold air inlets and it does work to a certain degree it seems to draw the hot air out, presume the air going past vent creates a lower pressure than in the car.
