Around 9:30 testing brakes heading towards Northampton. Red S3 with full cage and numbers crossed through. Would have been cold for sure.

Having had a look at the panel to remove them I think they will be staying in with the harness's in addition for a while. Thanks for your answers Derek

Hi Steve, thank you for the quick answer I think I saw that while I was under the car yesterday. I had to remove the rear spring/damper units to access the roll bar mounting. I could leave them in place if I use longer bolts. If you remove them what goes in the top mounting point where the belt would come across your shoulder? Derek

Hi, First post here. Bought a 270S back in November 2020, only managed 200 miles so far. I am fitting harness's to my 270S SV and cant see an obvious way of getting to the inertia reel units to remove them. I've had a look at the build manual but it didn't offer any clues. Any advise please Thanks. Derek

Hi Chris, Yes, it was specified as an option along with the lowered floors. Car was factory built for Caterham at Silverstone as a demonstrator. It was almost what I would have built had I ordered it as a kit. Track day roll bar and harness waiting to be fitted next week when it warms up in the garage. Then we need an easing of lockdown so it can come out and get it dirty. Derek

Hi, I'm new on here too. Good idea to look underneath before buying. This is a 2020 SV chassis with lowered floors. I bought this car from Caterham Silverstone and they were happy to put it up on a ramp for me to have a look underneath. They also checked the Titan LSD torque break point for me when I asked.
