details from Oxted are that they have a small number of leather covers available ex stock @ £120.00 plus VAT a pair, and that plastic ones can be supplied @ £100.00 plus VAT. so not too painful! Bob Blatting around Bucks

put your claws away, my car has a standard fit Caterham box and can't meet the requirements at Bedford unles I short shift past all 7 meters, Caterham in their wisdom can fit a bigger exhaust and carbon air box quiet kit if I want it, at a combined cost of approx £1,500.00, seems to me that they are creating profit opportunities ! Still - you pays your money as they say!

Thanks guys, I'll give Oxted a ring, but I might end up going the foam root. Yes Myles they are cold on a run, engine heat and heater keep everything else warm but the seats seem to be cooled by the air flow in or underneath the car, no hood of course. Apart from that the covers in Davids car looked really good. Bob Blatting around Bucks

Saw a car in Caterham Mids' last Friday with a padded partial lining on each of the seats, looked like ideal insulation against the cold of the fibre Glass this weather, looked quite smart too, sort of cut to fit between the 'carpet' lining sections. No one seemed to know where to get them from - anyone here know? Bob Blatting around Bucks

Roger King advised me that the 135bhp Supersprint was perfectly OK using the Ford branded headgasket - still available through Ford Dealers for around £17, but advised against any of the cheaper ones. Followed this advise and did'nt have any problems. For full tuned Xflows, the 180bhp type, he appeared to favour the copper asbestos type. As above, I would think anything available from Burtons would be OK. Blatting around Bucks

4 - 6 x 13 KN Minator wheels (silver finish), 95mm PCD ET23 therefore suitable for Ital Live axle car, complete with Bridgestone RE720 185/60 R13 Tyres (best List 1a tyres). All nearly new, purchased in April/May and used only at Curborough and Mira club sprints, plus "the charge of the Light Brigade" club run in June. Combined cost new was £438.25p, on offer for £340.00 ono. Must be collected but I will help by meeting half way if reasonable distance. Reason for sale - they won't fit my recently aquired De Dion car, ***t, so I will have to buy some more (with List 1b tyres)
