Hi all, replaced my 2001 Standard seat with a tillet...so it's spare..... Caterham logo etc in headrest....no tears, but well used....underside of seat base needs re-sticking down (but you cannot see that from top)......no idea what its worth ?....open to offers....cheers Graham PS: collection only from South Oxon... Hi all, I have a 2001 SS with a 6 speed....32K miles.....3 or 4 track days per year plus road use.....changed GB oil every 2 years...what's the consensus on the need for a service by Road/Race on the gearbox?.....a luxury or a necessity ?......cheers Graham

yes front brakes......is there a need to upgrade rear also ?

A big "Thumbs up" for Paul at Sutton Coachworks, just completed my Colour change from Silver to Lotus Lava Orange here . Super job, including my Carbon nose, fantastic finish over entire car.... Prep similar to Geoff, left suspension in place, but removed scuttle, wings etc...also roll bar for painting....(bugger getting it back in mind you !) Thanks for Geoff for the recommendation too !......... Graham

Hi all, does anyone know what the spec is for the 'slim headed' bolts that secure the roll bar ?....the ones above the shocker ......could do with replacing the two I have taken out.....do they need to come form the manufacturer ?...are they a special material ?....guess I could grind down the head of regular bolts ? thanks all, Graham

thanks all....in fact I realised it the same size as the gearbox fill plug I had to grind down a while back so job done.......thanks Graham

Now trying to do this....assume I have to remove top mount for the shock ?.... unfortunately neither my 8mm or 10mm Allen keys fit the hex bolt holding the top shock mount in......is this just a feature on my car ?...or can someone please advise what size the allen key is of the top shock mount (I cannot seem to find a 9mm)..or is it imperial ? thanks Graham
