I suspect a life vest is more appropriate for todays cycling - I got caught out by a rising ford 30 miles out and 5 from home - added another 15 miles to ride which is normally not a bad thing but today.... 😩🚴♂️
Not sure if relevant but for my SV they supplied two adapters to fit the standard radiator into the wider SV chassis. The build instructions were not great and I remember struggling for ages until I found what the bits supplied were for...
(obviously I am a mechanical idiot 😔)
These are a great improvement on what I had previously - as others have said they are rock solid and actually make mirrors usable and much less a useless add-on to the car.
Get the claim in as quick as possible - apart from anything else any delay gives them the chance to invent a story (not that anybody would ever do that in an insurance case ). They hit you in the back so should be easily resolved quickly and at least this is a time of year in which it is ok for a car to be in the garage.
Must confess that I am happy reversing anywhere EXCEPT into my garage, there I tend to reverse up the drive off the road and stop close to the door, then get out and push in. Also reduces the risk of running over the elderly, stupid, chocolate Labrador who is always keen to seen what is going on.
I had the same question on the white plug when I was building mine; worked out it is suitable for an accessory power outlet, and then had it confirmed by CC (eventually).
I replaced mine after a minor amount of excess suspension travel [ahem]; sensor through the top hat was not a problem, but the screw on the other side as well was designed for someone with much smaller fingers than me.
