  1. Oh well looking at $3k++ over here so option #2 Learn to drive a better line
  2. I looked at turbo chargers but think supercharging is the way to go if it is possible, And if it is what options as to type/brand/model# would one look to? Anyone undertaken this as a project and if so a ball park cost.
  3. Cheers Roy Just responded to you
  4. Hi Johnathan yes (thanks to you M8) but it does not clarify how the cable sits into the mounting brackets just says route through the brackets. It would seem the yellow plastic piece does slot into the bracket and should have a retaining Hose Clip clip. I am off to the auto p[arts store to see if I can get one, the other side I am sure the white adjuster sits in the mount but I do not see a way to secure it.
  5. I am trying to install the Handbrake and cannot figure out how to run it through the mounting points I am assuming the rubber grommets sit in the mounting two mounting brackets but where does the cable fit in the outer casing is to large to fit into the gap Does the yellow plastic piece (circled) sit in the mount and should it have a retaining clip to hold it in? and the white adjuster (circled) sit in the other side? If so I still do not see how to fit the two rubber grommets in. Thanks for any guidance here
  6. I look at the issue I am experiencing (with the few companies I am trying to spend money with) as expat small business owner myself. My customers are paramount (that goes without saying) to my livelihood and as such any call or inquiry receives a response within a 2 hour time frame if not sooner. If I do not offer my customers an outstanding CS then they will go to my competitor without a second thought. And to me as a small business owner I cannot afford to lose a single customer because I did not treat them like my only customer. It takes a minute to send a response of "Hi Steve kinda busy at the mo but I will get back to you" it does not have to be a long winded response just let me know I am a valued customer with an acknowledgement. It ain't rocket science (-:
  7. Reach out to UM but they are not answering emails (don't even have a phone number) which seems to be the general scheme of things in the UK. I am trying to work with three vendors for different parts and its like getting blood from a stone to get a response from any of them. Not saying all companies in the UK are like that (Darren over at at Caterham has been outstanding answering my endless questions) but it is really frustrating trying to get a response.
  8. Thanks I was about to drop a fair bit of cash on them and brining it all back to the US and would be rather upset if the quality was not up to scratch I am looking for cycle wings front and rear nose cone and other bits any suggestions on places to go (I would use Caterham but just they are a little cost prohibitive)
  9. Yea got the scuttle off with the idea to tidy up the wiring tap a couple of live wires for the GPS Speedo and Shift light label the one that are not used as I have an areo screen so everything that goes with a windscreen no fog or back up but still have lit switches, then I see the wiring OMG where ot start. (The photo does not do the amount of wires justice) Thinking cut my losses and just tap what I need and be happy
  10. Anyone have any discount codes for KCD I look under special offers for members but did not see them listed. Thanks Steve
  11. I am trying to sort the wiring out on my Superlite I will never get a job with Cirque du Soleil as I tried being inverted but after 1 minuet. that did not seem to be a viable option. + Im scared of getting stuck and then being found a week later brown bread, (Headlines would be amusing). My brain cannot comprehend the reverse mirror image concept so I think major surgery is needed that means removing the scuttle but how? or remove the dash but it seems very well glued on, any suggestions?.
  12. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-caterham-seven/ A rather unique set up as far as the roll cage and gas cap/battery cut off switch? is $8K right now but I am sure that will go up a bit
  13. FYI Screaming profanities at the top of your lungs does not seem to work
