  1. The one way valve on the breather would make sense! So as the temperature rises through the day a pressure builds in the tank and pushes fuel through the return line. Haven't checked but I'm sure the car will have one... Thanks
  2. Having removed the inlet manifold from my K series Caterham I was surprised to find a "leak" of fuel from the return line. Struggling to understand what would create a back pressure through this line and wondering if it is a symptom of a problem else where in the fuel system. Manifold is back on now, just wondering if anyone has experienced the same and can offer any explanation?
  3. Thanks Richard, they must be forged with machined tops as you describe. Good to know!
  4. I understand my 1.6 K series has forged pistons from it's racing life but I have no documented history to confirm it. I currently have the head off and was wondering if it is possible to confirm the pistons are forged based on the crown geometry? Would to reassuring to know what I'm working with. Can anyone tell me how to distinguish? Thanks
  5. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any surplus parts that might bring my upgrade aspirations back in budget. If anyone can help I'm after... Piper Fast Road (BP270H) or Supersport Camshafts for an EU3, 1.6K series with hydraulic followers. A pair of vernier camshaft pulleys A 52mm throttle bodyPlease message me if you have anything that might suit and I will get back to you Thanks!

  7. Hi, interested in the indicators and brackets if you could drop me a pic. Are light holders and bulbs included? willcoxa@btinternet.com Thanks Andrew
  8. Thanks Malcolm, yes you are right. I was happy to get a unit serviced by lifeline, they have rules that I’m must have been last serviced within 6 years and under 10 years old to make it sericeable. Sorted now - got a unit from Facebook marketplace that was serviced 10mths ago. MSA regs are a mine field! It would have been easier to just get a hand held... but a plumbed extinguisher seems a better bet. Thanks
  9. I’m after a serviceable 2.25l Lifeline extinguisher for Caterham, to fit in boot as part of plumbed system. Requirements are under 10yrs old and serviced within last 6years I believe. Please let me know if you have anything available. Thanks
  10. Take a look on Facebook Caterham 7 marketplace. Carl Nairn has a pair plus a spare at £60
  11. Hi, might be interested... could you email me a couple of pics of the camera and one of the range of equipment that comes with it... will Pm you email details. Thanks
  12. Hi, I'm after a spare set of wheels with tyres for general road use / hillclimbs that are more suited to the wet than Toyo 888Rs. Ideally I would like 13" x 6" Silver Apollo alloys with Yokohama A539s... but will consider other combinations. Please let me know if you have anything you want to sell that might be suitable! Thanks Andrew
  13. The nearside rear wing for a K series Caterham has a cut out at the bottom. Are there any issues fitting a wing without the cutout? I guess the issue is exhaust clearance, but it does t look like it will interfere. Just checking before I buy a second hand wing without the cut out...
  14. PM should be visible if you select Messages in the red bar at the top of the website and then scroll down to inbox. Does this help?
  15. Hi, can you confirm if the tunnel bag is the sprint or touring version? Can you also advise on condition. Thanks Andrew

  21. Guys, Thanks form the advise here... way forward looks to be LED. thanks
  22. I was going to stick with standard bulbs... assume LEDs will be a bit costly
  23. Just bought some clear rear light lenses for Caterham but struggling to find bulbs... Amber indicator bulbs from Halford have location pins at funny angles (not 180deg), same with Red stop and tail. i see they have indicator bulbs on Caterham Parts - but not brake lights. can anyone point me in the right direction here?
