    Minilite wheels

Hi Tazio.. Thanks for that. Andy
  4. i still rather like the Minlite/ classic alloys, which I think suit a 7 well but am not so keen on 6 inch wide at the rear. They just seem lost in the arches. Does anyone have any options or ideas for 6 inch front/ 8 inch rear Minilite style wheels?
  5. long shot I know, ( pun intended) but does anyone have a SBFS long nose shower cap for a S3 for sale? Cheers
  6. Stuart at Premier Power has championed the Ultra light fly wheel and clutch for the Sigma for several years now. His current version is more than 2.5 kg lighter than CCs own lightweight flywheel/ clutch set up and he says a Sigma 125 bhp feels quicker fitted with one than a standard Sigma 140 Supersport. On a 150 Sigma it's going to be impressive. Guess it's down to the razor sharp throttle response you get. It also happens he now does a Ultra lightweight flywheel and clutch for the Duratec. Now that's an interesting and potentially great first upgrade for my 360R. I'm looking at the piggy bank right now!
  7. Don't think it's a problem. It's a hex head plug (15mm I think) and self sealing.
  8. This filter.... oil... Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40. Engine capacity is 4.5 L including filter.
  9. I don't have a medium but would buy the size S off you if that helps? Andy

    310R vs 420R

Last year I had a run out in Premier Power's F200 Tivct Sigma with Stuart and can only conclude it's an absolute beast! If you like the fizzy high rev pull of the 310R rather than the slightly softer pull of some Duratec installations than you really need to check it out. It's perfectly docile at low revs around town but pulls hard, revs like a buzz saw and OMG the noise is unbelievable! It's an amazing bit of engine building that also seems reliable as Stuart is often out and about in it at national meets and track days, frequently giving test drives to anyone interested. Definitely recommend a call to him.

    Oil Level

I've found that as advised by others removing the rubber O ring from the dipstick gives a more consistent reading. There are lots of threads on this with the wet sump Duratec. I'm sure JK will be along with a link as I don't know how.
  14. oops.. too late. As I was typing the answer came along. Ignore me.

    O ring dilema

Ok.. all sorted. New dipstick arrived from CC today so all good for tomorrow's suspension set up at Northampton motorsport. I have sorted some o rings of various sizes thanks to some ideas here. And Stuart from Premier Power saw this thread and has posted an O ring from a dipstick in his workshop to help out. All in all loads of help and all sorted. Thank you folks.

    O ring dilema

Some good options thank you. Any clever types able to confirm if I need to look for a particular type of material that is sufficiently resistant to oil in this application?

    O ring dilema

So.. the O ring on the dipstick for my 2018 360 R Duratec has split. On this gorgeous day I can't drive her. I contacted CC and they don't sell them. Tony is going to pop down to the engine work shop and try and get one out to me. But there must be a source somewhere? ( tried the Sigma one and it's too big) help?
  18. Yay! I've been spotted! First run out for the wife in the new 7. I'm pleased to say she loved it. Hope you enjoyed your Blat too. It was perfect weather.
  19. I am looking at my 2018 factory built 360R and thinking the standard air box and filter arrangement is a bit restrictive. It should be a simple upgrade to fit a cone filter arrangement in place of it. Has anyone done this and can guide me toward the correct items/part numbers I may need from KN or the like? Thanks
