Hi guys and thank you. That's a big socket. I presume the tube is as a drift pressing the metal ring over the Rod End. I hadn't thought of the various bits of plastic drainage pipe that is lying around the house.

Hi, i got some new rubber gaiters for my Rod Ends from Redline. Anyone know how to fit them please. They don't seem to just press on. Thanks Rich

Hi do i understand from this that you have 4 or even 5 that have reasonable tread for road use , ie 6mm? 5th is not so crucial as i don't have a spare wheel yet. I have never arranged courier for anything though and could need some help. Regards Richard in North Yorks

Hi all i have a race cage for sale for a metric S3. Its in North Yorks but i have a van so may be able to help with transport. Also having removed it for a road bar i/we could fit it here if that helps. Diagonal style. Triangles are strong. Rich

Hi Jim, The diameter of the new roll bar is 45mm and the diameter of the cage i removed is 30mm. Thus the boot cover is prevented from reaching the outside /side fastenings due to the thickness of the bar. I can't get the front fastening on either. I'm not sure that the answer is to trim it yet and just wondered if there was any general advice before making a decision. At first it looks like i need to cut the cover around the 'inside' of the hole but there is a lot of stitching there. I meant to ask at our meeting last week but forgot because there were so many cars there to look at. Rich

Hi all, I have removed my cage and fitted a standard roll bar but the boot cover does not fit properly now. I need to trim a bit off so I can pull it sideways a bit more. Any advice one how to trim or what not to do. I have fears of cutiing it and then it tearing.

I contacted Ian at PT sports cars as he sold me my car. He says that the diff bolts often come loose and should be checked regularly.

I hace similar sounds and prone to jumping. Muy friend just found some loose bolts when car was jacked up and on blocks and i ran it changing gear. I have only done 1200 miles since buying it from garage.
