OK, we need to take one apart then.

    620R cooling

How about drilling the hole through the cut out on our alloy flange and fix the 16mm elbow there aimed towards the back of the block? That would give us the ability to connect the expansion tank feed and use the bypass pipe return for its original purpose. The bypass would originate at the cast water outlet at the back of the cylinder head behind the number 4 that we can modify to add the 16mm elbow instead of the bottom plug. Problem solved?

What is the constant circuit in 620?

How about putting the bypass hose back in place and connect the fill of the expansion bottle to the radiator itself? There is bottom bolt on the right and top on the left (I think) and it should be easier to banjo either one of them.

The plug on the bottom of the bolted water outlet at the back of the head is just pressed in. You can specify one of the products advertised here whether you want it with the bypass outlet on the bottom or without - the plug would be pressed in instead. The issue of that particular outlet is that it only offers thread for one temp sensor while we do have two in there. It looks far more feasible to modify our water outlet with the knee for a 16mm water hose.

Right mister, a lot of stuff you write makes sense. What is the cure?
  11. The only drawback of the CSR IRS I can see is the absence of the anti roll bar. It limits it on the track with the lean and to compensate for it with springs/dampers is wrong. Otherwise head and shoulders above the DeDion car - hands down. The 620 is a bit of a crazy beast as CC gave it 350 ponds/inch springs front and back. Hopeless!!!
  12. Not bad. I think we hijacked this. Back to 15" wheels.
  13. James, I don't think the comparison would be tha much different from the R500D/CSR combo.
  14. Hi Ian, I'm just contemplating whether I should get my CSR R500 back from the dealer and put the 620R SV up for sale instead. I guess you would tell me straight answer all right.
  15. Well, that would be nearly five years old now.
  16. Do you happen to know the date of manufacture?
  17. Who is Ian Bruce you keep mentioning?
  18. Where were you a year ago when I needed one?
  19. 6 point harness gone, Duratec Dry Sump Oil tank dipstick still available.
  20. 6 point harness pre-reserved. Anyone for a Duratec Dry Sump dipstick??
  21. Hi Mark, are you trying to be funny? Gave Sevens and Classics a ring last week - combination of Brexit vote and COVID-19 pandemic handle surely NOT being this country's finest hour - this all in the wake of the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain... Some offers, most of them a joke. Playing with the idea of keeping the CSR and selling 620R - a bit of a dissapointment really... De Dion not a match to the proper rear end...
  22. To whom it may concern - there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy in a date on this one. While we state on this website the event takes place on Monday the 10th of August 2020, the Anglesey Circuit website has us down for Sunday the 9th of August 2020. Which one to go for?
