Caterham Cars Ltd are inviting Caterham and Lotus 7 Club members to join them on their first event of 2022, and what better way to kick off than with an exclusive track day. Caterham Cars will take over the entirety of Snetterton Circuit on Tuesday 12th April 2022 to host a Caterham Seven only track day. Running on the ‘300’ layout, the day will be operating an open pit lane format with a limited number of guests – meaning that everyone get’s plenty of time on circuit, without having to queue. The day is strictly for Caterham and Lotus Seven vehicles – meaning that there won’t be any pesky hatchbacks and thunderous supercars clogging up the corners. Created for all different levels of driver, the event is open to both novice and experienced track day enthusiasts. Please note, the day is tailored for those who own non-race vehicles, meaning that both road legal and non-road legal vehicles are permitted. Other than Academy and Roadsport-spec vehicles (which are road legal), no race vehicles can participate. Because the event is being organised by Caterham Cars and run by MSV then, unlike a typical Club track day, there are no restrictions on the type of roll-over bars – opening up the opportunity for a much wider field of participants than is typically the case. Please note that as the day is not being organised by the Club then Caterham and Lotus 7 Club third party insurance does not apply. Experienced instructors will be on hand during the day, helping drivers familiarise themselves with the circuit and get the most out of their Sevens out on track. Instruction sessions can be added as an additional option at the time of booking together with additional drivers, passengers and garage spaces.
