I need to replace the lower wishbone bushes on a 94 Classic SE. Understand these to be Y9 bushes. What is the easiest sequence to do this job with the minimum of stripping down. The anti roll bar bushes also need replacing but this is straight forward again Y9 bushes. Gordon

Thanks Orangepeel 61 it is as you describe only I have few white cables. The +ve terminal three white wires (two crimped as one plus an additional white. The -ve terminal has two white and black crimped as one plus a white cable- there is also a white cable near the coil not connected? Andrew the car is a 1994 Classic SE the wires are as above.Correct the white to the + ve is live Car runs fine with tacho and ignition warning light going off.

Thanks John- unfortunately I cant relate with your cable colours and what feeds are connected to the +VE and -VE terminals and Anker my thoughts the same-take off the manifold.

Faffing around under the bonnet I disturbed the ignition coil connections. Can someone help and confirm the coil connections for the +ve and -ve terminals and respective colours and number of cables I have tried looking at the wiring diagram but my eyes must be past it. Maybe someone could photograph there coil connections. I did managed to get the car started ( after playing around with the cables), the tacho works and the ignition warning light goes out- just concerned I may be cross wired on the coil - ie the two white and black ignition feeds are connected to the neg terminal?????should this not be +ve. Current coil connections I have +ve 3 white cables ,-ve 2 white and black and 1 white if that helps Also how does one gain access to the Distributor-I can hardly see it under the cards yet access to check out. Do the Carbs have to come off or can it be accessed from underneath Thanks Gordon

Anyone have a set of Chrome or S/S wiper arms and blades they no longer have a use for. Black currently fitted but I feel they do not match alloy screen surround. Thanks Gordon

Very interesting and I too am in a muddle- I assume given the date of 1st Registration your car was subject to IVA/SVA which would have included basis emission testing the limits of which would appear on your V5C?
