I have just been trying to fit a pair of rear spax shocks to my 1990 de-dion chassis 7 , only to find that they are slighty longer than the originals , despite having the same identity ( g817),the problem being that the new shocks allow the tube to bottom out onto the chassis . Has anyone come across this before ????

Has anybody got a spare ford english diff flange ? The one I am looking for was , I believe , fitted to the Mk 1 & 11 cortinas . It has a diameter of approx 3 5/8 inches and a pcd of 3 inches ( 2 inch & 2 3/8 Inches between adjacent hole centres . I will buy or swop for the smaller Anglia flange or the larger Escort variety .
