Doc007
Does anyone have the solution to the problem of the manual pop riveter’s “nose” being too wide to snug the rivet down into the base of the female component of a durable dot fastener base? I’ve tried a stack of tiny washer and a short length of ali tube which worked initially but then was itself squashed. Theres got to be a simple solution to this! Without buying a new tool,,,
ECR
Well if you have a lathe or know someone who has, get the nose of the tool turned down. A couple of small nuts worked for me

Ainsley
I used a tiny nut. It didn't get squashed and only one nut was needed.
