MOT near Epsom?

Looking for a recommendation for an MOT station near to Epsom. I've decided that I'll do the servicing myself from now on, so just need the test.

Is there a database of good MOT stations that don't fail the car because it isn't the usual domestic appliance?

Hi I'm in Epsom but have taken my 7 to either Seven & Classic or Caterham Gatwick, they give the car a quick once over to make sure it will pass and I've usually waited while it's done (using a local garage to them).

Ask to speak to Mark Shoosmith (the owner). He's a long-time Caterham owner and always does mine.

DPR in Redhill used a place called Service Plus Redhill on mine, I guess that's who does all their MOTs?

I once suggested this, but it was ridiculed. My guess was that it was because it was thought that disclosing helpful testers would cause them problems. I disagree. And the forum has public access anyway.

MOT done this morning at ServicePlus, Redhill.   Yes, they do the MOTs for DPR Motorsport so know what they are doing.  I would use ServicePlus again and would recommend.

I tried to book an MOT with Caterham Gatwick but they we're too busy.  Gaston Gate Garage in Cranleigh could only do next Monday and I need to be in Krakow that day.

Nearish to Epsom, is Jim Whiting's tame place who have done all my MoT tests, very <ahem > tolerant on the emissions front:

I always use the MOT Shop in Addlestone. Very understanding of non-standard cars. Though Hanworth is closer to me - perhaps I should check out Mullan's next time.
