Start your engines! Caterham Cars Ltd are inviting Caterham and Lotus 7 Club members to join them on their first event of 2022, and what better way to kick off than with an exclusive track day.

Caterham Cars will take over the entirety of Snetterton Circuit on Tuesday 12^th April 2022 to host a Caterham Seven only track day.    Running on the ‘300’ layout, the day will be operating an open pit lane format with a limited number of guests – meaning that everyone get’s plenty of time on circuit, without having to queue.

The day is strictly for Caterham and Lotus Seven vehicles – meaning that there won’t be any pesky hatchbacks and thunderous supercars clogging up the corners.  Created for all different levels of driver, the event is open to both novice and experienced track day enthusiasts.

Please note, the day is tailored for those who own non-race vehicles, meaning that both road legal and non-road legal vehicles are permitted.  Other than Academy and Roadsport-spec vehicles (which are road legal), no race vehicles can participate. 

Because the event is being organised by Caterham Cars and run by MSV then, unlike a typical Club track day, there are no restrictions on the type of roll-over bars – opening up the opportunity for a much wider field of participants than is typically the case.  Please note that as the day is not being organised by the Club then Caterham and Lotus 7 Club third party insurance does not apply.

Experienced instructors will be on hand during the day, helping drivers familiarise themselves with the circuit and get the most out of their Sevens out on track. Instruction sessions can be added as an additional option at the time of booking together with additional drivers, passengers and garage spaces.

Caterham Cars will be in attendance with a number of press cars, technicians and dealers along for the day.  So be sure to sign up for this exclusive trackday or just pop along and say hello!

This is a great opportunity to take part in an Open Pit Lane, Caterham-only track day, at Snetterton run by Caterham Cars Ltd. This is the first time an opportunity like this has been offered to our Club and if the day is well supported hopefully the first of many.

Our first four Club track days of the 2022 season are sold out already confirming that trackdays are highly sought after this year.

Given the exclusivity of this event at one of the UK’s leading race circuits I think this represents good value for money and will be a great day. I am sure places will sell quickly.

Update.

I have just been talking to Caterham Cars and they confirm that over 50% of the available places have been booked since Friday. So this is clearly going to be a popular event and it is looking like it will sell out.

As well as being an exclusive day for Caterham's and our Club Members, Caterham Cars have confirmed that in addition to the other benefits on offer their Bury St Edmunds dealer Krazy Horse will be coming with a couple of cars. Their Bristol dealer Williams Automobiles will also be joining us with a car and Technicians.

Caterham Cars have advised that there are now just a few places left so it is looking like this event will sell out very soon.

Hot Laps - The Bristol Caterham dealer Williams Automobiles will be bringing a 310R for hot laps with Henry Williams as the driver. Henry is competing in the 310R Championship.
