Rear Hub Nut

Yep.  It works well if you don't have a roll bar fitted.  The roll bar is in the way otherwise.  But if you are single handed and worried the diff may slip off the jack, you can use a ratchet strap on the roll bar to provide security.  This will only work with the BMW diff where the cage provides the mount point.

After first hand reports from a specialist Caterham mechanic of cheaper nuts stripping before reaching the 270Nm I have decided to stick with the Ford Original parts, as supplied in my kit in late 2019, and still available from your local Ford dealer.   Not the cheapest, but my best chance of a quality guarantee.   I have seen them as low as £1.80 each, what I don't want to do is pay top dollar and get bargain basement, because the only way I am going to find out is either the nut fails in use, or fails as torque it up, both sound like I and the car could sustain damage.

If you stick with genuine Ford parts the socket size will be 42mm

To save you some effort, the quote from ChrisC in the mentioned thread is:

"Just for reference. The Ford original parts are still available from your local Ford dealer.  6133689 and 6133688 are £16.60 (including VAT) each.   The only downside to using the Ford original part is they have changed the spec from 41mm to 42mm, so you may need a new socket.   I discovered this last year when I built my car.  At the time CC supplied one 41mm nut, in older Ford packaging, and one 42mm nut (with a packing date of November 2017).   Now both are now 42mm, one was still packed November 2017 and the other was May 2020 which suggests they are still produced. .
