Can anyone tell me what the minimum road clearance is on an S3 420R with lowered floors please.

Are you asking what is physically is from the factory..?

or

what you should be setting it to on your own car..?

if the later then normal guide is a coke can under the lowest point when your at your laden weight, fuel, two up etc.

Is yours wet sump..? if so the front left corner of the Duratec is particularly vunverable, myself anf many others have cracked to lost the corner in a B road compression.

The Raceline DS affords you 32mm or was it 38mm more clearence here meaning the low point is now the bellhousing. 

I've only scraped my wedge a couple of times and never yet the lowered floors.

Dry sump(420R) from factory, what is the biggest object i can pass over without scraping the underside of the car. When you say coke can is that standing up or laying down, excuse my ignorance. Thanks. Bill.

The concept of the coke can is that you should be able to roll a coke can under various parts of the car, particularly the sump which is obviously a critical art you want to avoid damaging.

I could do that with my Roadsport 140 but haven't tried with my 420 SV but can if you want
