A7 OOH
I second that Y16 is what you need- I am new the the live axle but understand they don't last long. Ever so cheap worth have a set as spares.

abbot
so that appears to be option 3 with a metal top hat inner
Sooty
Taz, Y16 defo the ones but they can and do deteriorate very quickly if contaminated with oil. So axle fill levels and therefore axle breather activity, crankcase venting if you vent catch tank to rear can make a real difference. Ive had them go in as little as 750 miles! abbot
Job done. Metal top hat sleeve. The rubbers had gone but nowhere near the degradation of previous swap overs.I followed my usual process of using 2 narrow blade scrapers and then jack the frame up into position. Now need to order some replacements to be ready for next time. Ivaan
Before replacing, I rub candle wax into the bushes. Lubricates them to go back in and may give some protection from oil. Bushes seem to last longer.
