SM25T
General guide ... with your weight in driver seat .... set front height so the sump is at least 65-75mm off the ground. Then set rear +15mm above front height. Measured under chassis rails .... front at rear of cycle wing and rear at front of wing.
anthony1956
Not how to set it, I need the delivery settings for u.se as an official "before" set of numbers.
revilla
I don't there really are "official" settings. They just come as they come - probably all over the place!
revilla
The assembly guide is as close as you'll get and agrees with Ian:

anthony1956
they seem to want ride heights as measured from the centre wheel cap to the bodywork.. so rear is ok and it gradually dawned on me the front could be from centre wheel hub to cycle wing. Seems daft to me, but I suppose what works is what works.
revilla
Front ride height from wheel centre to cycle wing will work until they want you to adjust it in the dampers.
rj
Front wishbones horisontal and 15-20mm rake should be close to optimal. Beware that the ZZS' are 185 at the front whereas the CR500s were 175. I had to adjust for this to reclaim handling.
anthony1956
Adjust how? Can't say I relish when I will have to switch.

anthony1956
Well actually, going to get the billies serviced by billy so they are ready to refit, not least because the nitrons are due a two year service.

anthony1956
Swiss. Failed, have rectified all points except Nitrons approval which is in progress via conversation with the very helpful lady in charge at the test centre HQ. Attestations are always the secret ingredient. :-)anthony must type faster...

Replaced with a second reversing light.Brake lights out. Fixed switch (embarrassed!)No plate light not lighting number plate. Now modified.Nitron shocks with Certificate, also required fitting certificate (attestation)from a Swiss garage.Failure to notify change of shocks from originals.. now notified. I hardly dare ask if I can fit JAL LED rear light clusters.
7 wonders of the world
simple answer is no as they are not 'e' marked AFAIK.There are others which are, SVC offer some dimensionally similar to the OE ones.or you can got for alternate shapes etc.
TomB
Are you allowed to fart while driving, or do you need a piece of paper for that too? Im late to this thread - can't you do anything a car in Switzerland to take it from standard without permission? Makes the UK seem positively liberal for once!
