Absolutely brilliant....well done...thanks very much...I have never seen one of these strap hole finder devices before, how amazing! I've been building aluminium bodies for a decade or more and had to do it the hard way...hit & miss...wow, just about to buy one now on ebay. Life is worth living after all!

All rivets are present which bodes well. Plan is to gently work area back to flat and fit the reinforcement bars. Even though they aren't apparently necessary any more I clearly need it given the current distortion of the floor. 

I tried but couldn't find anything on a DIY solution in the archives though.

The lowered floors are 3mm aluminium (originals are 1.5mm) so if fitted correctly with steel rivets there shouldn't be any sagging.  Standard floors were often fitted with aluminium rivets not steel.  The additional folds in the lowered floors also aid strength in the floor itself.
