K-series Clutch Centreplate Alternatives

I'm in the process of renewing the Clutch centreplate on my K-series car ,it's an AP therefore has known issues and as it's mainly used for Sprinting - it's a form of preventative maintenance of sorts.

However - the part - CP2257-44 is out of stock with Caterham, the alternative CP2257-9 is not available at Redline, nor any of the AP dealers that i've spoken to and they don't believe it's currently in production.

So, anyone know of one available or alternatively a part number that will work? I ideally don't want to replace the whole clutch cover and centre plate unless I really need to.

I was in the same position as you recently having been very disappointed with AP clutches. Fitted this lot and it feels lovely and seems to handle the torque better too:

I've got a Helix one - had to send me two as the first had poorly fitted rivets - they were proud of the friction material - could be seen without opening the plastic bag it was in.

Sent me a new one with no trouble before I had a chance to send the old one back, so all dealt wit perfectly

I fitted a Helix one last year which has been fine and no noticeable difference from the AP one (which had disintegrated).  Interestingly the AP one has Valeo written all over the friction material and my Helix one was actually a LUK plate.   So you may be able to safe a few quid by just buying one of those.   The Helix coverplate had the original markings ground off which made me suspect the whole thing was just a heavily marked up LUK clutch.
