Watch collection - Rolex, Omega, Bremont

I am liquidating / consolidating my watch collection as it's getting a little out of hand.

I thought I would offer what I have to Club members first for a simple, and trustworthy transaction.  All are current UK models, all with original boxes and papers and I have priced them realistically to be the cheapest available in the UK.

ROLEX EXPLORER II 'ORANGE HAND' 42mm in white. Ref 216570

https://www.rolex.com/watches/explorer-ii/m216570-0001.html

Current model as in the link above.  Dated 2013, bought in London so not an import. Fully complete boxed with papers, spare links, hang tags etc.  Worn so carries the usual wear marks here and there on some of the brushed surfaces, however nothing that won't polish out when it is due a service.  £4,250

OMEGA SEAMASTER 300M CERAMIC, 41mm in black.  Ref 212.30.41.20.01.003

https://www.omegawatches.com/watches/seamaster/diver-300-m/gents-collection/

Current model as in the link above.  Dated 2012, bought in London so not an import. Fully complete boxed with papers, spare links, hang tags etc.  Worn so carries the usual wear marks here and there on some of the brushed surfaces, however nothing that won't polish out when it is due a service.  £1,850

BREMONT SUPERMARINE TERRA NOVA, Ltd edition, 43mm titanium in black  **UNWORN**

http://www.bremont.com/collection/terra-nova

This one is a bit special.  Have a watch of the video linked on the website above for the backgound and details of this amazing piece.  Numbered in the high 200's [actual run number on request] of only 300 made and all now sold.  I bought it again in London in April this year on a bit of an impulse (saw it, liked it, knew it was one of the last, bought it), so it is only a few months old. However, it has been locked in the safe since, fully complete and is unworn.  In fact, I have not event registered the warranty card which is still blank, so fill it in and send it off and you would be registered as the first owner with full warranty with Bremont. New price £4,495 although all sold out, will sell for £3,800.

Thanks for looking,

Neil

Well, given it was made to withstand sub-zero temperatures of the Antarctic, it would be perfect to take skiing!

Joking aside, the engineering that goes into the British made Bremont watches is really quite something, no matter which model of the range takes your fancy. Well worth looking into the brand for if you're not familiar. I've been fortunate enough to meet the brothers as well and they are thoroughly decent chaps with a genuine passion for watches and Britishness, not just out to generate profit. You'll need deep pockets if you want one the other special editions they do though!!  The Wright Flyer is a personal favourite, or maybe the Victory ...

I prefer the box to the watch, when it comes to the Wright Flyer.  I do like the novelty of the way the outer bezel moves on some of the models though.

It's interesting to see how the popularity of the watches in the US is making some of these watches a sound investment. P51 and Victory in particular. The brothers English are good marketeers.

Mark, you are quite right.  I am tempted to keep the Bremont for that very reason, it is quite unique within their lineup and other Special Editions such as the P51 and EP120 are hugely sought after now that Bremont are becoming more well known, commanding well over the price when new.

Actually all three should hold their value, and in fact there is a shortage of the white Rolex's right now.  I have a watch dealer near to the office where I try on a few bits now and then.  His part-ex value for the Rolex which I tend to be wearing at the time has gone up roughly £100-200 each year since I first asked.

All still available but will start advertising elsewhere soon if no interest, just wanted to give first opportunity to Blatchatters as I know there are some fellow watch lovers on here. *byebye*

Rolex - **SOLD**

Omega - **SOLD**

My stunning Bremont Terra Nova is still available, still unworn.  Last chance for a blatchatter before it goes off to a dealer so price reduced to £3600.

Any inspection welcome in Surrey or London for this wonderful example of British engineering.
