For sale is my wife’s 2012 Mini One D Clubman, with 6 speed manual gearbox and full service history. Only 2 previous owners. It has very low mileage at 43k miles and is in near mint condition. Bodywork and paint are superb. Has really nice upgrades including, metallic paint, alloy wheels, reversing parking sensors, tinted windows and mood lighting. Drives brilliantly, very economical and cheap to insure and is the highly sought after Clubman version. Having owned HPC's with both types of chassis, I can confirm that the post 96 version is the better one. Noticeably stiffer and better suspension geo. Hold out for later type for sure.

RHS imperial S3 wide track wishbone. In really good condition apart from a bit of scarring where the previous owner removed th circle. It doesn't affect it use and that bit is on the underside, so doesn't show. £40 Mike 07770 968944

Hi Chris, yes S3 and in really great condition. No marks that I can see. It's genuine Caterham and is the quick release version, not the early JPE type. I'm near Horsham but travel to Croydon most days, so happy to meet up halfway if that helps.

A bit left field but I'm wondering if you have the correct length dampers? Where do the lower points mount- mid de dion tube or lower and what is the open eye to eye length? Should be 440mm for mid tube mounting.

Thanks mark. Point taken about spring length. The most important thing for me is the closed lengths (eye to eye) of the rear shock for a mid tube mounting

I'm in the process of ordering a set of Protech shocks, so I need the correct open and closed lengths so I order the correct ones. Firstly, the car is a post 96 widetrack (i'm just doing the conversion now) So I know the open length should be 15" but what is the closed length and what is the length of spring? Rears are incorrect on mine, so I can't measure what I have. They are mid tube mounted and I think I need 440mm eye to eye open, but what is closed measurement and what spring lengths? Going for 250lb fronts and 150lb rears on VX HPC. Thanks!!
