Redbullwings
I've seen there is an ex academy 7 on eBay which would be a nice project, but the price is dillusional. No guarantee of what bits are there, 120hp. It started out being 10k now it's gone up to 12k!I recon 8k tops given the risk factor. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281873348405
CharlesElliott
I would struggle to pay £6K - maybe £7K if it has a V5.
simonpa
Has certificate of newness (allegedly) but no V5.£5-6k tops, maybe less after a look to see what is missing.. Fitting the panels is not easy to get neat.
Roger Ford
Worth more as individual parts if you could find the buyers.
phil 01
I thought I would write just to correct our poor deluded seller, below is what I wrote to him and his reply to me, I don't believe he got that asking price YOU:You cannot be serious with your asking price and difficulty involved in reassembling the body work, this a specialist job, normal Arch Motor would complete this sort of work, this involves bending and shaping the panels with heating to the desired shape, once this has been completed it then requires welding in place. Have a read on the lotus seven forum some of the posts relating to the sale and check on Pistonheads for similar assembled car PhilNew message from: t-please (206 [Turquoise Star] )Well as u know opinions are like arse holes- everyone has one!! Forums are full of armchair experts and they are in effect Cyber terrorists talking things down waffling about something they aint physically seen However as Kim told his engineer " I know what Im doing" Man came saw paid collected the car this afternoon and gave my mate the money we wanted for it and he is chuffed with his purchase

Wrightpayne
Spotted a chassis on ebay now - £1500 ex race no v5. Seems very optimistic! ian
simon_h
Theres another one, bare ally and green grp, allegedly brand new, on there now at £2500.Looks quite nice as a project car, allbeit a fairly old one, but is the no chassis number likely or have they just mislaid the plate and the number is stamped on somewhere?
