ScottR400D
Hi all. I built my R400SV earlier this year and it's fitted with Tillett composite seats which are very comfortable as far as I am concerned but my wife would prefer something a bit more padded! So I'm thinking of buying a pair of more 'normal' padded seats to put in during the winter, when I'm unlikely to take the car out for track days.Caterham list a leather seat for the SV but there is no image so I can't be sure what they look like. Anyone got a picture of that or any recommendations for any other seats?

Julian H
Have you tried padded seat inserts? I suspect they could even be made with thicker foam for more "paddedness"!
ScottR400D
Thanks guys. I've sent a pm about the seats for sale and will have a good think about the padding idea.Peter Scott
alcal
Would reccommend inserts for Tillets. I found the leather seats on my last car lacked lumber support and have overcome this by adding foam between the inserts and the current Tillet. You can "tune" the seat like this for optimum support/comfort. They look good too..
