zetec
There Is a choice but which one size to go for?175/50/13 or 185/60/13would I get lighter better steering feel for the slightly smaller tyres?
OliverSedlacek
I think the most noticeable difference will be rolling diameter. 175/50 will drop the car down so I'd be worrying about speed bumps. It will also lower your gearing (more revs for a given speed).
DJ.
If they were just narrower, yes. But with 50 profile the 175s are going to give very little clearance for your sump.edit: Beaten to it

Krismuss
Hi Craig! Can I take it you're running A048s then as it sounds like the same size quandary I had on my last 7, I ended up running the smaller ones on mine (mainly because I had lower wing stays and couldn't get most of the 'other' sizes to fit! I never had an issue with clearance though :)see you on the dark side!chris
7 wonders of the world
185/60x13 fit under the lower race wingstays no problem
Krismuss
They wouldn't fit under mine, guess they were low-lowered All I could fit under mine were CR500s or the narrower A048s and little else (despite wanting to).ChrisEdited to add it was the bend at the side of the stay that wouldn't clear rather than height under the arch part.
