sjmmarsh Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Just make sure it has two mirrors on it.I took my windscreen off when it failed the MoT because of a star crack and a rear tyre below the limit. I put on the aero screen and a different wheel and drove it back for retest 30 mins later... They were a bit surprised, but agreed that it was a pass. Support Team Shaun_E Posted December 17, 2014 Support Team Share Posted December 17, 2014 I used Basingstoke Autocentre on the advice of a kit car owner (we're new to the area). They did a throrough MOT but respected all the "kit car" stuff (emissions, etc.) and even replaced a faulty bulb for me. Don't expect them to turn a blind eye to anything though.
