Damo V
the faq section isn't overly clear as the images aren't displaying since the switchover to new site. This item; http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=236Does this kit come with a wiring diagram? once it's fitted (properly) this will be as good as disconnecting the battery I presume? fitting to 2013 supersport R duratec. Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 2, 2014 Member Share Posted December 2, 2014 There's a wiring diagram in the archives. Why do you want one... racing cut-off or avoiding drain while it's unused? Do you need an immobiliser? Any chance of it living on a conditioning charger?Jonathan
Damo V
To prevent the current drain from immob.can go on conditioner week to week in summer as reqd but for extended period (now) would rather just disconnect it (or switch it off!)the faq section doesn't have the images it had on old site.... ECR
A "Discarnect" (ebay) will disconnect your battery easily and does not have the occasional unreliability problems of the FIA switch. It will not satisfy a race scrutineer but is fine for what you apparently want and a LOT easier to install.
Dr Slotter
In this situation, I would just disconnect the battery.
