Pierre Gillet
I figure that you may try first to tighten the existing rivet with the special tool for riv-nuts if you have it. Pierre

Paul D Jones
Hi I have a rivet nut tool and a selection of rivet nuts if you need then Iam in Grimsby or the postman can deliver them. You will need to drill out the old one if it will not recrimp tight, drilling it out may be harder than said as if it turns freely as you drill it will then spin with the drill so you will then need to put a piece of stud or long bolt into the rivet nut and knock it into the box section [iam assuming that the rivet nut is in the box section] then try and remove it or leave it in the box section a blob of silicone will stop it rattling and then fit new rivet nut with appropriate tool. E-mail me if you need any more info/help. paul
